    اللَّهُ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ لاَ تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلاَ نَوْمٌ لَّهُ مَا فِي السَّمَوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الأَرْضِ مَن ذَا الَّذِي يَشْفَعُ عِنْدَهُ إِلاَّ بِإِذْنِهِ يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ وَلاَ يُحِيطُونَ بِشَيْءٍ مِّنْ عِلْمِهِ إِلاَّ بِمَا شَاء وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَلاَ يَؤُودُهُ حِفْظُهُمَا وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ
    Allahu la ilaha illa huwal Hayyul Qayyum, la ta'khuthuhu sinatun wa la nawm, lahu ma fis-samawati wa ma fil ard, man thal-lathee yashfa'u 'indahu illa bi-ithnih, ya'lamu ma bayna aydeehim wa ma khalfahum, wa la yuheetoona bishay'im min 'ilmihi illa bima sha'a, wasi'a kursiyyuhus-samawati wal ard, wa la ya'ooduhu hifdhuhuma, wa huwal 'Aliyyul 'Adheem
    Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great.

    Why Is Ayat-ul-Kursi Recited?

    Ayat-ul-Kursi is widely regarded as the greatest single verse in the Quran, based on a hadith in Sahih Muslim in which the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ described it as such. It affirms Allah's oneness, His eternal life, His complete knowledge, and His sovereignty over everything in the heavens and the earth.

    When to Recite Ayat-ul-Kursi

    Many Muslims recite Ayat-ul-Kursi after each of the five daily prayers, and again before sleeping at night, based on Hadith describing its protective virtue. It is also commonly recited in the morning and evening alongside other adhkar (remembrances).
